Editing to the Beat

Today we undertook the editing to the beat exercise in which we will implement into our video for the final piece. In our rough cut one of the things we struggled with was editing to the beat and this decreased the quality of our music video as pointed out by some of the audience we took feedback from.

To prepare for the task our teacher showed us some examples that previous have done before.



During this task we were required to edit several individual clips into one coherent short film in which each cut happened on a beat. In our music video this would portray the emotions and mood more effectively. Moreover whilst I was editing I employed the skills I learned during the lip sync task and layered each clip on top of one and other.
